In continuation of my letter No. 229/2 of the 21st November 1888, No. 34551 from this Office, the restrictions on building South of Kennedy Road will be removed as soon as the Tytam Water shall have been laid on to the Barracks in Victoria, but I am to state that Mr Secretary Stanhope trusts that Lord Knutsford will cause instructions to be given to the Governor of Hong Kong that the Agreement is to be adhered to, and that the land South of Kennedy Road is not to be disposed of by Lease or Sale until the necessary connections are...
